FEYENOORD - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026

Feyenoord were founded in 1908 and are the great institution of Rotterdam, Holland's hard-working port city. Known to their supporters as De Trots van Zuid (The Pride of the South), they play at De Kuip, one of European football's most atmospheric arenas. Opened in 1937 and nicknamed The Tub for its steep, enclosing bowl, the old ground still roars like few others on a European night.

The 2025/2026 season, during which this iconic red-and-white home shirt was worn, was Feyenoord's 118th campaign and their 104th in a row in the top flight. Club legend Robin van Persie took charge for his first full season as manager, and Feyenoord finished second in the Eredivisie on 65 points, a distant 19 behind runaway champions PSV Eindhoven but comfortably clear of the chasing pack.

There was European football too, though not quite as the club had hoped. Feyenoord were knocked out in the third qualifying round of the Champions League and parachuted into the Europa League league phase, where they won only two of their eight matches. The KNVB Cup brought an early second-round exit. A busy summer saw big money arrive for departing stars, with Dávid Hancko sold to Atlético Madrid and Igor Paixão to Marseille, both for around 30 million euros.

Up top, Japanese striker Ayase Ueda was the story of the season, scoring 25 league goals and 26 in all competitions. He hit a hat-trick in a 7-0 demolition of Heracles Almelo and four in a 6-1 rout of PEC Zwolle. Winger Anis Hadj Moussa chipped in with 11 league goals, and February brought a marquee arrival when Raheem Sterling joined on a free transfer from Chelsea.
