CLUB NÁUTICO EL QUILLÁ - HOME SHIRT 2025
Club Náutico El Quillá were founded on 28 April 1938 in Santa Fe, Argentina, in the riverside surrounds of the Parque del Sur. The name comes from the Guaraní word for an otter once common on the banks of Santa Fe's rivers, and the club are fondly known as El Tiburón (The Shark). They began life as a rowing and swimming club, set up to back local long-distance swimmer Pedro Candioti.
The year 2025, in which this home shirt was worn, followed the finest chapter yet in the club's women's football. El Quillá's women went into the year as reigning provincial champions, having won the 2024 Copa Federación undefeated, a first title of its kind for the Santa Fe institution. Coach Pedro Joaquín, the architect of that run, was kept on for 2025 as the side looked to build on their standing as one of the most competitive teams in the Liga Santafesina.
That 2024 title capped a landmark year. The women had qualified for the provincial Copa Federación for the first time after finishing runners-up in the Torneo Apertura, then went all the way without losing a match.
In 2025 they carried that form into the Copa Santa Fe, sweeping past Barrio Oeste of Gálvez 5-1 on aggregate to set up a meeting of champions with Unión. For a club with such deep roots in rowing and swimming, seeing the footballers compete with the province's best made 2025 a proud time to pull on the shirt.
